Been awhile...BUT...I.....LIIIIIIIVVVVEEE!

Hello Folks

Been a long time since I last posted anything, anyways,my website hasn't been updated in ages, and I haven't even started a 2nd episode of TICTTAS or anything. Been a long and very busy year at my workplace, lot's of things have happened, people come, people gone, and I am now the longest serving employee at my workplace(3 1/2 years), with about 7 weeks of leave saved up :P. I swear I'm not a workaholic.

Anyways, I've got plans and stuff to continue a few projects I've let fall to the side, among them is Sandhurst Academy, I'm still considering whether to do a 2nd TICTTAS ep, and the one constant I am proud to say is my story writing. At this point I have filled two and a half little books full of writing. Though I do occaisionally hit little hurdles, my main advantage with my current story is I only write a couple of pages a night, which lets me think about what direction I'm taking it. I'm not gonna lie, its pretty crappy at the moment, disjointed, and a bit flat, but this is the first draft, after which I will be writing a hopefully vastly superior 2nd draft, with a bit more subtlety to the characters, and a whole lot more depth. Part of this first draft is getting a feel for how I want each of the main characters to be portrayed, also a feel for the world, and how the powers the characters have work. there's a lot of unwritten backstory to a lot of characters, which means they already have a sense of depth as well. I'm aiming for each character to have some form of backstory to get their motivations, personal opinions and the like across.

For Sandhurst Academy, its gonna become a slice of life comic to a degree, and I've already written a bit of a script for the next chapter. My plans with it is to write each chapter as a sort of standalone story, each one will introduce new characters and hopefully expand the world a bit. I'm also considering abit of a redraw of the earlier pages to bring them in line with my current drawing ability, but we will see. But basically the idea now is not to jump in and go nuts, but to be a bit more methodical.

I've also recently taken up playing Minecraft, and am considering creating a youtube series based of that, partly due to Mojang giving their explicit approval for this sort of thing. It will be a standard survival random map, and will involce me building stuff, possibly from my Realm storyline. But we will see where that one goes, I'm thinking of creaating anew channel for this one, to allow it to be fully legit while the other one can be my abrigening series place. Main reason for the Let's play series, is from a techincal and editing perspective its very straight forward and easy, unlike and abridged show, and can legitametly be used for making money, something I hope to never see from abridgering.
I have another idea of narrating my comics, or at least voice acting them to a degree, sorta like an animated comic thing. Which I may do for the Realm, but may do for Sandhurst Academy first(though more then liekly it will be pretty bad at least at the start)

On the anime side, I've been a bit lax lately, but I was quite impressed with legend of the Legendary heroes of legndariness(though not so much with its name :P) Good action, and a surprising story so far, I've even taken the effort to avoid tvtropes on this one as well. though I may have seen an Amv which may have ruined a few scenes for me. Also saw broken Blade, and have to honestly say its one of the best looking anime I've seen to date. Voice acting was a bit enh, but at the same time I was glad to see Sentai Filmworks getting this one. Competition is never a bad thing. Story was a bit all over the place as well, but considering they basically adapted what should've been a 26 episode series into a six episode ova you win some lose some. other than that, I've been watching Rosario Vampire, which while not quite up to par with the manga, honestly made me laugh quite a bit, because of its stupid fun :)

On the drawing side of things, I haven't done much recently really, partly due to not having an appropriate place to do it at home, although I have been told by my mother when my sister moves out finally(she's living here and in another town at the same time), I can claim that room. Basically I'm planning on setting up a bit of an art studio, with the idea that it be quiet and out of the way, probably without a computer in it as well, to force me to concentrate. Computer's are bad at keeping you focused.

On that note, yes I do still live my parents, but when the house has close to 12 big rooms, a pool house, and an acre block can ya really blame me? Plus I don't like the idea of paying money to someone else for renting, when I can just pay mum and dad money, it helps them a little, and seeing as I'm sort've the last one to leave the nest so to speak, allows me to help them with things as well. Though admittedly I'm not the most proactive house mate.

I'm also putting myself on a sort of diet I guess, basically I will avoid having takeaway for lunch, for the next month at least, perhaps indefinitely, instead eating packaged meals, or bakery products from the work freezer. This is mainly due to the fact that in the last couple of weeks I estimate I went to KFC at least ten times. And its put a bit of weight onto me, which I don't really want, though it does keep me warm in winter :P

Anywho, sayonara folks, have a good one, hopefully my next post will be full of good news of projects starting and going along swimmingly :)
